Curtis-E Hearing Community Impact

Our Mission Statement
To provide hearing aids for the underprivileged in all walks of life. It is the vision of Curtis-E Hearing to provide a higher quality of life to everyone without financial discrimination. It is our belief that every child should be able to hear their parent’s voice and every grandparent should be able to hear their grandchildren regardless of their financial situation.

The Facts
Today, only one out of five people who could benefit from a hearing aid actually wears one. With the appropriate direction and vision, we are confident we could raise that number.

How does it work
We work with a doctor referral program to identify children with a hearing loss whose families cannot afford hearing aids. Internationally, we will sponsor a series of missions to travel to underprivileged areas of the world and offer our expertise on hearing loss and provide hearing solutions to those who cannot otherwise afford it.

In the last year we have been able to help two local children by providing them with hearing aids free of charge. By doing this, these children will now have an opportunity to excel in school, interact with friends and family, and develop into contributing members of society. Living in a world of silence is hard for anyone to experience, which is compounded with being unable to focus on learning as well as the stress of adolescence. Hearing loss affects so many aspects of our world including making friends, communicating with teachers, asking for help, etc. It is immensely rewarding to be able to help children hear the sounds of the world, a privilege which we all take for granted.
